COURTHOUSE CONCERT CONNECTION

From October to April, The Georgian Bay Folk Society has a variety of
programming designed to support and promote folk music.

We host one event each month, at a reasonable price and have a great
time doing it. We've got some surprises for you this year!

The Courthouse Theatre

We are thrilled to have our own 50 seat "Courthouse Theatre" where we
present concerts and Open Mics, in the original Grey County courthouse.
The theatre creates an intimate performance space, "It's like having a
performer in your living room."

Last Chance Saloon

Our ever popular Last Chance Saloon will be held in late March.
This casual pub style evening features 12 acts each playing a 15
minute set. The celebrity judges choose one act, based on criteria, who
will be hired to play on main stage at Summerfolk. Members of the
audience can score the acts and choose their favourite.

We invite you to check out these events, whether it is as a performer at
an open mic or the last chance saloon, volunteering with the committee
or being part of the audience, we know you'll have fun.
