Cam Lavers Design

Cam Lavers has been a professional artist, designer and craftsman since 2002. His work is primarily in wood, but he incorporates other mediums into his pieces – such as guitar hardware in his “Tables in the Key of C”. His line of artistic pepper mills has become his most popular work. His designs have been featured in enRoute magazine, Toro Magazine, LouLou magazine and Global and City TV!

Dan Paper-cutting Art Studio

At the age of seven, Dan began his artistic studies with his grandfather who engaged in paper-cutting work throughout his life. Proud of this heritage, Dan spent much time systematically studying paper-cutting technique and theory. Throughout more than 20 years of continual practice, Dan has developed cutting techniques to achieve new forms of artistic expression.

Durham Wood Products

Edgar Werner has been making wooden combs for about two years now. Their main feature is that they do not generate static electricity, but we think people buy them more as a piece of unique, functional, folk art. These beautiful, collectible pieces are made mostly from wood salvaged from local tree removal companies.

Fotherby

Barbara and Ken Fotherby design unique, colourful and affordable ceramic jewellery finished with 22 k gold, platinum or mother-of-pearl lustres. Each piece is coloured with complimentary colours or monochromatic hues. Earrings, pendants and bracelets are designed to complement any wardrobe. Wall pieces are fish, geckos, butterflies, seahorses, octopi and starfish for indoor or outdoor display.

Fusion Art

Nancy Legassicke has enjoyed working in her home studio for the past 30 years. She produces a line of functional dishware enhanced by whimsical designs, and sun catchers, many of which have added wirework and beads to complete the design. She takes great satisfaction in knowing her glass has been taken all over the world as souvenirs of a great trip to Canada.

Goddard Design

Dennis Goddard is a graduate of the University of Canterbury, College of Art in Kent, England. Dennis has worked as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator for firms in Toronto and Montreal before opening his own Design Studio. He has designed a number of stamps for the Federal Government. Dennis resides in London and teaches Graphic Design and Illustration at Fanshawe College. He is also involved in teaching Calligraphy, Water Colour and Oil Painting courses for the City of London.

Handweaving by Janet Whittam

Janet’s booth will be filled with hand woven clothing, rugs, household linens and baskets. Her work is characterized by intense colour combinations, luxurious natural fibres (cotton, silk, bamboo, wool & mohair) with always a touch of the unexpected woven in. Harper Pottery

Jonathan makes domestic ware with strong beginnings and endings and a lot of play in between. His work is made from reddish stoneware, which fires to a black speckled tan colour. His playfulness is most apparent in whimsical forms such as teapots, spaghetti jars and figurines, which are formed mostly at craft shows and decorated at home. Recently the whistles have influenced his carving patterns and made them a little more playful as well.

Iron Maiden Sculpture

Rebecca Allen creates Artwork for home and garden. Focusing mainly on sculpture, Rebecca creates colourful and unique sculptures out of welded steel and found objects. Growing up in an eclectic household of artists, Rebecca was inspired and encouraged to explore her creativity and develop her art. Rebecca studied Fine Art and Georgian College and recently received her government certifications in welding. Inspired by nature and movement, Rebecca is constantly evolving and exploring new forms and ideas.

Henna - Under The Willows

Emily Leonard learned about henna body painting while studying in Spain and started her business in Sable Beach. Emily custom designs and hand-paints henna tattoos using 100% natural home-mixed henna paste at folk festivals and year-round, specializing in henna body painting for Hafla belly dancing parties, weddings, pregnancies and other special occasions. She believes henna tattooing is a beautiful way of expressing herself creatively in a non-permanent form.

Renaissance Edge Glassworks

Ruth Pellmann has a Batchelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Studio Specialization and a graduate diploma in Art Psychotherapy. She works in kiln fired painted and fused stained glass with themes inspired by natural landscapes. Ruth’s studio is located in Pefferlaw, not far from the shores of Lake Simcoe.

Richard received his BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and studied contemporary ceramics while traveling throughout the United States. Silverstrong Jewellery Design
