GBFS
Volunteers
The
Georgian Bay Folk Society is fortunate to have a large dedicated
team of volunteers. Last year, over 620 volunteers ensured
the success of the Society’s events, including the
32nd annual Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival, the Courthouse
Connections Concert Series, the Youth Discoveries Showcase
and the Last Chance Saloon among others. Volunteers also
work on our many committees. Many GBFS volunteers are seasoned
veterans; however, each year brings many new volunteers
to the team.
Volunteers
must be members of the Georgian Bay Folk Society. If you
are not already a member, a membership form will be made
available to you. For your convenience, a wide variety of
membership levels/packages are available at reasonable cost.
(See Membership Page).
For
members, a volunteer application form can be submitted to
apply for any vacant volunteer opportunities that may exist.
Please note that in some cases waiting lists may exist for
volunteer opportunities as they arise. (See Volunteer
Application Form).
